The Rhode Island Gambian Association is a non-profit, non-political, non-ethnic, and non-partisan organization with the objective of advancing the Gambian community in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. The Association actively contributes to the social and economic development of the Gambian community in these states by providing information and services to its members in the areas of education, employment, immigration, housing, healthcare, legal and accounting services, child care, sports and recreation, and arts and culture.
The Rhode Island Gambian Association operates through compromise and consensus and engages in activities that best serve the interests of its members.
